If you haven’t tried Halo Top Ice Cream yet, you must be living under a rock. These tubs of healthy goodness have been fulfilling all of our ice cream needs ever since they hit the shelves. Halo Top contains higher amounts of protein, less fat and sugar, and much fewer calories than traditional brands, whilst still maintaining the same creamy consistency.
Halo Top is all-natural, made without artificial sweeteners and, nutrition-wise, in a different league from the brands we know and love. For instance, a tub of Halo Top vanilla bean contains 240 calories, 16 grams of sugar and 8 grams of fat, while a tub of Haagen Dazs vanilla for example has 1,080 calories, 84 grams of sugar and 72 grams of fat. Whoa!
We find out a little more about this new ice cream sensation from the Halo Top Australia Team.
It is rare that the words 'healthy' & 'icecream' appear in the same sentence! What are 5 things that make Halo Top the healthy alternative?
Our Vanilla tubs are just 280 calories.. it sounds like magic right?! There is no big secret though, we just spent a long time in the early days crafting an ice cream base and formula that struck just the right balance, by using organic stevia as a sweetener. And now we like to get creative with epic and delicious flavour combinations that still stay true to our lower-calorie offering.
What are your top three highest selling flavours?
It’s a close call but, Peanut Butter Cup, Candy Bar & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough take the win.
Sooooo because its such low calories does this mean its ok to eat a whole tub to myself?!
There are four servings per tub but who are we to get between you and your tub of Halo Top.
