Tell us how the creation of Girl About Town (GAT) came about?

It’s all a bit of a blur to be honest… It happened so quickly! I think the defining moment for me though was when someone mentioned I should go out on my own, and after I got that thought in my head, there was no turning back. That same person also said they would be my first client, so I knew I had their support and an amazing client to work on. A lot of hours, hard work, research, networking and determination were the key factors.

As a busy business owner, how do you stay motivated to exercise?

It helps that my partner is very much in to fitness, he pushes me a lot. Plus, in PR, there are a lot of events, lunches and dinners, which are rarely healthy, so I like to keep a good balance by working out regularly to make up for that! I do the majority of my workouts in the morning – then I know it’s done for the day and it gets me up and going. I also grew up dancing so exercise is kind of second nature for me.

What is your favourite workout style and why (HIIT, yoga, boxing etc)?

Definitely HIIT. I have a great PT who I see twice a week and she pushes me hard with this style of training. What I love about HIIT is that it’s quick but intense, and I feel like I get instant results with how challenging it is. Every work out is different which I like – I’m never bored.

Who would you say is your biggest inspiration and why?

Roxy Jacenko. Not only is she the queen of PR in Sydney, but she manages to stay fit, always on trend and have a family at the same time. Goals right there!

Favourite fashion accessory?

The perfect bag – I can’t go past my Alexander Wang Rockie bag or YSL clutch.

What are some of your favourite healthy cafes in Adelaide?

Nutrition Republic and Bomdia Bowls.

Coffee order? I don’t drink coffee… Instead, I will have sparkling water!
Red or Green juice? Green.
High tops or heels? Both!
Favourite holiday destination? America.
Favourite motto? In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different
